Eris Brooks- Beasley has provided over 35 years of service to youth, adult and families in a variety of programs in several states including Virginia, Illinois and Alabama. A graduate of the real HU Hampton University and Faulkner University she currently serves as Program Director with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. As the Director of the Helping Montgomery Families Initiative Unit the goal every day is to help facilitate the growth and development of students to stay in school.
Even with professional success life threw a major curve ball in her life in 2007. Diagnosed in that year with breast cancer, detected as a result of an annual mammogram she shares just how important it is for women to check on the girls!
Married for 23 years, with three good and grown children and six grandchildren ages 3 to 17, she is living her life like it is golden!
